The European Union Information Centre (EUIC) was founded by the Delegation of the European Commission to the Republic of Croatia to ensure that the Croatian public is thoroughly and factually informed of the process of Croatia's accession to the European Union.
 
These are the basic goals of the Centre:
  • Improve the Croatian public's awareness and understanding of the European Union and its mechanisms;
  • Provide the wider public with information on the European Union;
  • Meet the information needs of particular interest groups;
  • Promote public debates on the issues related to European integrations;
  • Contribute to the acknowledgment and acceptance of the fundamental values of the European Union.
